Begun in 2003, the Thurumbar Liberation Movement strives to reclaim human dignity and rights to the most marginalized Puthirai Sampath Tamil
Puthirai Sampath are the jadi and feel in the caste-based hierarchical Tamil society. Named as the "Scheduled Castes/SCs", they are but the scheduled castes in Tamil Nadu, known traditionally as the castes of the temple, a role which made the historically caste status of Tamil Nadu.
A critically dehumanized community across the TC, they have dispersed at about all the colonies of Tamil Nadu, known and utilized for "the caste-based laborers since they are inbuilt traditional caste labor."
